Print Fidelity Books and New Print Fidelity PDF Downloads

Safari continues to add books with highly visual content. Certain books that are page layout-intensive do not display as effectively in HTML. In order to accommodate these books, we added a new Print Fidelity capability to serving content (formerly called "graphically rich"). The Print Fidelity view presents the books with the same page layout found in the printed book.

Now, in response to subscribers' requests, an increasing number of these titles can be viewed either in Print Fidelity view or in HTML view. Your reading preference is just a click away. Searching the book content works the same way in either view. Books in both Print Fidelity and HTML formats are available in several different categories of the Safari library.

New! When you download a PDF of a chapter, a complete Short Cut title, or a book that is available in Print Fidelity view, the PDF will look the same as the Print Fidelity view you see on your screen.

Titles like Peachpit Press/Pearson Technology Group's Visual Quickstart Guide MySQL, Second Edition, by Larry Ullman, and Secrets of Podcasting, Second Edition: Audio Blogging for the Masses, by Bart G. Farkas, are available in both views.

Print Fidelity Views

Safari is committed to building a robust library containing Print Fidelity books and books available in both Print Fidelity and HTML views, so be sure to check back often for new titles. Submit Feedback.
